A course in creating images and photographic prints by learning the cyanotype technique. We’ll have fun provoking encounters between drawing, the photogram and the photographic image through experimentation with visual montages or image superimpositions.
Over 3 days, you’ll use your own images or make new ones, then learn about the various stages involved in cyanotype printing, from the photosensitive emulsion to the creation of negatives and the printing of images. It will be possible to create a small series from images of gestures, actions or portraits, linking the photograph to the drawing or object on the same plane, and to customise photographs by working on the negatives or using overprints.
