The workshop progresses from quick sketches to body shaping drawings. The aim is to acquire a particular drawing technique through graphic writing, and then apply it to drawing the shape. The gesture initiated is an opportunity to experiment with a way of observing the body, and a means of translating it into plastic form. Sketching in a short space of time familiarizes the student with the gestures of sketching, while the long exposure provides an opportunity for more in-depth graphic production. The course is structured around individual and group coaching, corrections and demonstrations. This course is an opportunity to practice drawing, learning observation and representation techniques, while discovering graphic experimentation. The three-hour workshop is an opportunity for in-depth drawing practice.
Material to be provided by the trainee (list communicated on registration).
*Classes will be held during the All Saints’ vacation period.
