The workshop will focus on drawing from live models, with an emphasis on color and the finished drawing as a composition.

Through the observation of the human figure, various approaches will lead to a range of representations: compositions with transparency, thematic figure scenes, portraits, landscapes, and abstractions.

Each day will have a specific objective, and the challenge will be to create a finished drawing by progressing from a sketch to a study drawing, culminating by the end of the afternoon in a thematic composition derived from the day’s exercises and experiments. The practice of observational drawing from a live model and the exploration of color will serve as a starting point to guide participants in considering drawing in terms of composition and artistic creation. The morning will be devoted to the fundamentals of drawing, the exploration of color, and the essential morphological forms of the body. The afternoon will be devoted to creating a finished composition—an independent drawing, artistically finalized, that takes the live model as its subject and develops it into an autonomous graphic form.

Materials to be provided by the participant (list provided upon registration).

The workshops are conducted in French and are reserved for adults and young people aged 16 and older. The workshops will take place on July 14.
