Participants will be asked to take the time to fully absorb the visual information before putting pen to paper, to keep their eyes open to the relationship between the model and the space surrounding them in order to become aware of the shape of the void.

Thus, observation—which tends to be objective—also becomes an awareness of the space and the sheet of paper we have chosen, the vessel for an apparition.

To overcome the inhibition of our hand’s movement, we must avoid watching what it does on the paper, trust it, and refrain from trying to control it.

Thus, in this moment of opportunity, the hand’s movement becomes fluid. You may choose the paper size, with the option to paint on large formats. Depending on individual preference: acrylic, gouache, watercolor, and ink… Painting teaches us to know ourselves through the act of creation.

Workshops are conducted in French and are reserved for adults and young people aged 16 and older. Workshops will be held on July 14.
