This course focuses on drawing in an urban environment. Outings in small groups around Paris enable students to master the means of representing space, adapting their practice to the terrain and acquiring a graphic style.
The course is divided into a theoretical lecture (concise and illustrated) in the morning to give the essential teaching tools for understanding perspective, framing, proportions and point of view, and an outing for the rest of the day to work on the motif.
The course uses a variety of techniques on paper to obtain an accurate representation of reality in a given time, and focuses on acquiring the speed of execution and synthesis needed for outdoor work. The course is taught in pairs.
Students must bring their own equipment (a list will be sent to them when they register).
Courses are taught in French.
