Thinking about comics as an autonomous work. A journey through different environments, using fictitious cameras to ‘collect’ clues in order to construct a narrative, with the discovery of numerous books and fanzines revolving around the gestures of the comic strip.
Thinking about drawing as a transitory object and questioning the lightness of rough writing, the first draft, the speed of execution and the liveliness of the line. Experimenting with and integrating scattered notes, multi-directional arrows, indicative pictograms, printed images, etc.
Exploring the temporality created by the embryonic drawings, telling stories that allow readers complete freedom of imagination. Each comic strip is finished off with around ten pages compiled in a collective edition printed at the School itself, of which each participant will receive a copy.

Material to be provided by the trainee (list given on registration).
*Classes will be suspended during the Christmas holidays and will continue during the winter holidays.
