The essential basics of drawing while discovering the richness of dry techniques and gouache.
Graphite, charcoal, black chalk, dry pastel: these mediums will provide an opportunity to experiment with different materials, tonal values, gradations, and textures. Participants will learn to master the accuracy of their lines as well as to free up their movements.
The sessions will alternate between technical exercises and practical applications through a variety of themes: everyday objects, studies based on the masters, live models (nude or clothed).
Inspired by the studio life of the Beaux-Arts, this course offers a space for experimentation and exchange around the history of drawing and artistic processes. It is aimed at anyone who wishes to deepen their perspective, develop their sensitivity, and assert their personal expression through drawing and mixed media—from dry materials to gouache highlights.

All classes are taught in French.

Equipment to be provided by the trainee (list given on registration).

*Classes will be suspended during the Christmas holidays and will continue during the winter holidays.
