The workshop invites the student to an artistic journey, another time to learn, to improve and to explore the representation of the living model by using the senses:

• Vision: stimulating the eyes to memorise, observe form, structure, distance, light intensity, colour, black and white.
• Touch: hold a pencil with more or less pressure to explore the whole range of greys, use the right amount of touch to deposit and diffuse charcoal by brushing the paper.
• Balance: understanding body movements and orientation in space, speed, gravity.

During this course, the meeting is with the living model, this other, who, through his personality, his posture, allows each one to apprehend the space of the fast sketch to seize the essential, but also a fleeting movement in the bend of a dance or a longer pose for a large format.
The life of the workshop is not devoid of convivial exchanges around the productions, accompanied by classical or contemporary artistic references as well as artistic news.

Courses are taught in French.  Material to be provided by the participant (list communicated at registration).
