The course begins with the making of one’s own camera: the pinhole camera, a very simple optical device that allows one to take pictures without a lens by letting light pass through a tiny hole.
through a tiny hole. Then experimentation with another photographic process: the cyanotype, a photosensitive liquid with which to create deep blue images. Finally, the darkroom, with manipulation in a silver laboratory, shooting and developing the film, making a contact sheet and enlarging: the 24 x 36 black & white film will no longer hold any secrets for the participants!
