Observation and experimentation are essential to learning. It is important to approach both drawing and painting, as the two are closely linked.

This course allows you to acquire some basic techniques in order to better move away from them: (The subject being a pretext for painting) how can you start from reality and arrive at a dreamlike state?

Discover and master different water-based techniques, particularly watercolor and ink, in order to appropriate effects and accidents and better bounce back. This course will allow you to assimilate enough knowledge and technical tools to develop a unique artistic vocabulary. This course requires some knowledge of life drawing.

Materials to be provided by the student (list provided upon registration).

*Classes will be suspended during spring break and will be held on public holidays in April and May 25.
The course is taught in French.
