The course proposes to deepen the immediate relationship between the gaze and the gesture: to capture the form. The study of the living model is worked on as a whole, to grasp the unity and coherence of the human body.
The teaching favours rapid poses in order to avoid concentrating the gaze on details, to know how to grasp the essential so as not to weigh down the line of the hand.
The use of water-based techniques: watercolour, acrylic, ink is favoured for their quick drying, making visible the energy, the momentum of the brushstroke.

The acquisition of a technicality based on primary colours and their mixtures allows the students to know the chromatic palettes, the components of the colour and the luminous phenomenon during the course.
This workshop offers enough knowledge and practice to allow students to paint freely.

Courses are taught in French.  Material to be provided by the participant (list communicated at registration).

Break in classes during spring break from April 24 to May 08, 2023.
