Using live models, learn about the different ways of shaping a form in clay. Master the representation of the body in volume and, through this, take on the challenges of sculpture. Expressiveness, contrasts, the interplay of full and empty, the relationship with the ground, scale, etc. are all addressed.

The course alternates between traditional live model sessions, where observation takes precedence, and, in response, other more experimental and creative sessions on different ways of modelling.
