Sculpture, Ceramics in Saint-Ouen
This course teaches the theoretical bases of ceramics and introduces participants to the various technical processes involved in creating a series of small-scale ceramic sculptures, so that they can assimilate the various stages and processes involved in ceramics in just five days. It includes clay modelling and colouring, as well as an introduction to glazing on terracotta.
Reproducing a form from nature, interpreting it or inventing it, all projects are accompanied by a builder’s eye for design, a sculptor’s eye for invention and a ceramist’s hand for implementation. Through reflection and imagination, the aim is to create with clay and bring a project to fruition.
