This course focuses on observation, so that the student learns to situate a shape in the middle of others, to simplify it in order to be able to read it, memorise it and reproduce it by going from three to two dimensions. During the course, the specificities of each technique freely chosen by the student are addressed, as well as questions of proportion, shortening, rendering of light and space, and also contemporary artistic questioning with reference to works of today, as well as those of the past.
