Through the study of live models and still life, this workshop aims to help participants understand space, form, light, and color.

The goal is to learn how to observe and translate the perception of reality into watercolor.

The subjects serve as a starting point for exploring the possibilities of the medium, where observation and experimentation take center stage. Participants will learn to master the dilution of water, an essential element that lends lightness and luminosity to the painting.

The work will alternate between dry and wet techniques, as well as the layering of washes. The day is organized in two parts: the morning is devoted to working from a live model, while the afternoon is dedicated to still life. These two complementary approaches allow participants to explore different ways of approaching watercolor and enrich their practice. The course as a whole aims to develop a personal artistic style through a sensitive and experimental practice.

Materials to be provided by the participant (list provided upon registration).

The courses are taught in French and are open only to adults and young people aged 16 and older.
